TDT PIR is pre-insulated ducting sheet, an innovative product used in an air distribution system. It is developed as an alternative to the traditional galvanized insulated duct. TDT PIR is made from Polyisocyanurate Foam sandwiched by aluminium foil or paint-coated metal sheet. The product comes with standard equipment and proper tools that make it easy for installation and adjustment. The resultant ductwork is not only beautiful but also long-lasting, fire-resistant, and serves as an excellent insulator.

Efficiency and quality
The foam’s density is 50 (+/-2) kg/m3, with usable temperature ranging from -60๐C to +80๐C in any climate. Its thermal conduction value is only 0.023 W/m-K, lower than other heat-resistant insulators for air-conditioners, which means it is energy-saving during normal use. Sandwiched by aluminium on both sides, the product is completely free from air leakage. With very low friction loss, the product helps reduce the loss of chilled air while maintaining air volume in the system. The product’s evenly structured tiny pores help to better prevent noise and impact from vibration.
It weighs only 1.46 Kg/m2 (1 hanger set is ideal for every 3-5 metres of pipe). An average worker can assemble 30 m2 – 50 m2 of air duct per day and install 15m2 – 20m2 of air duct per day. That is 5 - 8 times more than the traditional galvanized duct. Long service life, short and little work required, economical in terms of labor cost and accessories, easy for daily maintenance, and saving on long-term investment. Paint can be applied without primer. Covered by aluminium foil on both sides, the product is protected from corrosion on its surface. This helps prevent fungus and bacteria from growing on the duct’s surface. Cleaning can be done with water on both sides of the surface to maintain sanitation. The product contains no HCFC, so it is safe for humans and the environment. It can be reused as the product’s materials are eco-friendly.
